The webinar “Guidelines for the design of a crisis marketing plan” was part of the webinar series “Travel for Tomorrow”, organized by TourCert. It was held for free on 06 May 2020 and provided important assistance on how to create a marketing plan in times of crisis.
In the webinar Patricio Gaibor, TourCert Coach in Ecuador and marketing expert specialised in destination management, gave a talk about the necessary steps to create a marketing plan in a tourism company in times of crisis. He gave advice on how to create and carry out an initial diagnosis, define the mission, vision and objectives and draw up a strategic definition (priority axes) and an emerging operational plan with positioning alternatives, actions to be taken and messages to be disseminated in a contingency.
