The web-seminar “Guidelines for the design of a crisis marketing plan” was part of the web-seminar series “Travel for Tomorrow”, organized by TourCert. It was held for free on 06 May 2020 and provided important assistance on how to create a marketing plan in times of crisis.
In the web-seminar Patricio Gaibor, TourCert Coach in Ecuador and marketing expert specialised in destination management, gave a talk about the necessary steps to create a marketing plan in a tourism company in times of crisis. He gave advice on how to create and carry out an initial diagnosis, define the mission, vision and objectives and draw up a strategic definition (priority axes) and an emerging operational plan with positioning alternatives, actions to be taken and messages to be disseminated in a contingency.
